His work riffs off 1950s pop culture, from music to movies to magazines, updating Pop Art styles with an innovative combination of acrylic and spray-paint on canvas, merged with digital techniques.

‘Always Ready’ depicts the black and white photograph of a woman, kneeling seductively in a little, gingham-checked dress as she applies red-lipstick to her pouting mouth. But this is no ordinary pin-up: the bullet belt around her waist, army helmet on her head, and silver gun in her tattooed-hand say (quite literally), girl power!
